The Producers
Manos de Mujer is produced by women coffee growers from APROCOMSA (COMSA) in Marcala, a protected coffee-growing origin in Honduras.
At the heart of COMSA is a philosophy called Finca Humana — “The Human Farm.” Its focus extends beyond producing exceptional coffee to creating communities where people and nature can thrive together.
More than 1,500 producer-members receive education centered around organic farming, sustainability, and working in harmony with the land.
From Farm to Export
After harvest, the coffee is processed using the full natural method and sun-dried on raised beds, allowing the fruit to remain around the seed throughout drying and contributing to its intense sweetness and fruit character.
The women producers deliver their dried coffee to COMSA, where each lot is received, cupped, and evaluated before export. The coffee is then hulled and carefully sorted by density and color.
COMSA’s cupping lab and team of Q graders oversee quality throughout the process, helping maintain both traceability and consistency from producer to export.
Coffee With Impact
Coffee is only part of COMSA’s vision.
Through Finca Humana, the organization invests proceeds from coffee sales back into its community, including an international school created to educate and equip the next generation.
Manos de Mujer brings together women producers, organic agriculture, meticulous processing, and community investment in one beautifully expressive coffee.
